How can I set up or reset my password?
Hi Students!
If your password is not working or you have not logged on before to TAFE Queensland services such as Connect, please visit Password Manager to reset or create your password. If you have any questions, please call 1300 308 233 or visit our website.

How can I see a copy of my grades?
- Visit the TAFE Queensland Gold Coast website and click on the current students menu then select online services from the drop down list.
- Click on the Student Self Service link found at the bottom of the screen.
- To access the system it is necessary to register. If you have not yet registered please do so via the link outlined in red.
- Please click on the ‘Home’ Link found in the top left hand corner.
- This will take you to the logon page. Enter User ID – Student Number, Password (provided at registration) and Tick the. ‘I accept the terms and conditions box.’ If you have any problems with the password, please follow the password reset instructions on this page.
- Click on the Self Service Menu link which shows the drop down menu. Then click on Academic Records link.
- You will then be taken to the screen shown below. Click on View Unofficial Transcript link (either of the two links).
- When you arrive at this screen tick the appropriate options in the options box then Click on Submit
- The next screen will show this new box. Click on the My Report Manager link.
- You can then click on the STUDENT ACADEMIC HISTORY LINK to access your transcript.
- Visit the TAFE Queensland Gold Coast website and click on the current students menu then select online services from the drop down list.

How can I connect to the Wi-Fi?
- Connect to WiGCIT wireless network
- Enter your Username and Password as follows
- Username: <yourstudentnumber>
- Password: <yourpassword>

How can I get a student copy of Microsoft office?
First create a Microsoft account if you don’t have one already - signup.live.com
You will be asked to provide your details.
Once your account is created, add your payment details and billing info.Once your details are correct you can click this link -> http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msaus/en_AU/pdp/Office-365-University/productID.260298000
Once the product is added to you cart you can press the button to checkout.
The page will then ask you to login using the Microsoft account you created above.
Once logged in you will need to provide the proof that you are a student.
Select the documentation tab.You should see this message when you are done.
If you see this when selecting checkout
You will need to call Microsoft on 132 058. You will need a copy of your student card, if you have not been issued one yet, you'll need a copy of your transcript, which will show that you are currently enrolled with us.Once on the phone you need to select the options for the Sales department.
Advise that you want to purchase the Office 365 University.
They will ask for your student email address, you need to advise that your institute does not issue student emails. Advise that you have a student card or your transcript.
The customer service representative will then give you an email address to send a scan of the card to, you can scan your card at any of the MFD’s located around the institute or send a copy of the transcript.
Once this is done they will put the purchase through for you and charge your card that you have advised. If you are using a parent’s card the representative will need to speak to the owner of the card.
